Toyota has turned an enthusiast rumor into a real future-car problem: how do you budget for something exciting before anyone will tell you the price? What Toyota is developing
The prototype builds on motorsport and Nürburgring testing with changes to aerodynamics, cooling, chassis behavior and the GR-FOUR all-wheel-drive system. Toyota is also developing two-seat and five-seat concepts, including a GR Direct Automatic option, but market specifications can differ.
Avoid the allocation trap
Limited performance models can attract markups and speculative deposits. Ask whether a deposit is refundable, whether the dealer has a real allocation and whether the agreement caps the selling price. A social-media promise is not a production slot.
